What Personal Data we collect

  • We collect your name, address, phone number and email address if you place orders or make bookings in order to furnish you with information regarding the orders or bookings made by you, and also to send you catalogues via the post.

  • To keep you updated about Stamp With Elaine and Stampin’ Up! special offers, classes, tutorials, events via email and post.
  • To comply with HMRC tax and accounting law to enable us to prove evidence of sales and income.

What Data is held, Why is it held, and for how longIn Person Classes and EventsWhen you book on to a class/event I will ask for your name, address, email and contact number.  I do not take payment via card for events so no payment details are recorded.  The date you provide is only used to confirm your booking, send reminders or further information relating to the class or event you are booked on to.  If your class includes Stampin’ Up! products, I will add your details to the Stampin’ Up! system for the purposes of ordering your supplies which is covered in the section below.
Online ClassesWhen you book on to an online class, I will ask for your name, address, email, phone number and your payment details.  I will enter the information into my Customer Manager Database on the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Website  to process an order for products required for the class.  This data is held securely on the Stampin’ Up! system in the USA which is covered by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (please refer to the section “Privacy Shield”).  I will use the date you provide to confirm your booking, send reminders or further information pertaining to the class you are booked on.
I will ask for your consent for your consent to be added to my mailing list to enable me to send you follow up emails, upcoming product information which I believe would be relevant to you.  If your class includes Stampin’ Up! products, I will also add your details in the Stampin’ Up! system for the purposes of ordering your supplies.  More information about ordering your supplies is in the section below.
Ordering Products When you place an order directly with me, I will ask for your name, full address, telephone number, email address and your payment details.  I will enter the information into the Customer Manager Database on the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator website to proces the order.  This data is held securely on the Stampin’ Up! system in the USA which is covered by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (please refer the the section “Privacy Shield”).
If you place an order directly on my Stampin’ Up! online website store, you will create your own password protected account.  You will be asked to provide your name, full address, telephone number, email address and your payment details.  Stampin’ Up! will also make your contact details and details of the order you have placed available to me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator via my Demonstrator Website.  Your payment details will not be visible to me nor will I be able to change the details you have entered.  This allows me to support you with your purchase so that should you require an exchange or a refund, I can facilitate it for you.
Stampin’ Up! uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt sensitive data in transmission, such as the password for your account, billing information as well as credit card information from your web browser to our web server.  Stampin’ Up! will also pass your name, postal address and phone number to UPS –  our shipping courier – for the purpose of delivering your order.  UPS use the data to print labels and for routing the packages within their system.
In compliance with HMRC tax and accounting purposes, this data is held for 7 years and shredded when no longer required.
